A national project
The PID: a new way of doing public policy
The digital engine of transformation
"We know what it takes to transform a sector. The PID proves that it is possible".
Where did it come from?
Who is behind the PID project
Funded by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR): €165 million to digitise the tourism ecosystem with AI, interoperability, and advanced digital services.
TECHNOLOGY AT THE SERVICE OF THE ADMINISTRATION
An example of modern public policy
It creates a common framework that facilitates public-private collaboration and collaboration between administrations.
For the first time, financial support for destinations to advance their digitalisation has not been given to isolated projects, but rather to ensure that all are integrated into the central hub of the PID. This is a model where the modules created by each destination can be reused by others, generating collective value and maximising public funds. In fact, these synergies were scored when grants were awarded. With nearly €96 million, developments and technology with an estimated value of €200 million have been financed.
Projects that transcend administrative boundaries and are designed to work together from the outset.
It generates strategic intelligence for the administration and the sector.
So that institutions, businesses, and citizens can better understand each other.
It uses technology to improve public management and streamline processes.
Its analysis systems, citizen participation tools, etc. enable common public policy challenges beyond tourism to be addressed.
It enables large and small teams to benefit from technological tools and continuous support, fostering a more balanced and efficient digitalisation of the public sector.

Cloud-based - Destination as a Service (DaaS)
Always available, no need to install anything.
Secure and reliable
Controlled environment that protects sensitive data.
Digital solutions
Designed to grow without overhauling everything.
Predictive and simulation capabilities
It identifies patterns, anticipates trends and enables the potential impact of different actions to be assessed to support decision-making.
